Janice, however, finds the whole thing funny - even though she gets injured in Chandler's attempt to 'hug and roll' - and shows that she is actually a reasonable human who understands what he wants and appreciates that he was trying not to hurt her feelings. This episode proves that, just like Chandler, Janice has some commitment issues of her own - and they almost end things because of it.
In 'The One With The Metaphorical Tunnel', Chandler gets carried away trying to prove that he's not afraid of commitment with Janice, because he loves her so much something that takes him a lot longer to figure out with Monica However, after a hilarious scene at a grocery store, the two end up working it out, and even saying 'I love you' to each other.
Janice and Chandler are honest with each other, care about each other, and have an incredible way of dealing with the stages in their relationship - and it's amazing to see. Sadly, 'The One With The Giant Poking Device' is where Janice and Chandler break things off, after Chandler finds out that she cheated on him with her husband, and still has feelings for him.
This may not seem like a particularly soulmate-worthy episode, but it actually is! Partially because she literally tells Chandler that he is her soulmate, but also because they are able to break things off with love and respect, because Chandler can't stand to break up a family.
They have similar values around keeping families together wherever possible, and Janice understands Chandler's own history and his parents' divorce, too. Janice is right. She is his soulmate. This time, Janice and Chandler break up for the last time - and it's a shame, for those fans who think that they are actually pretty perfect together. However, this episode does show just how much Janice loves Chandler, and just how devoted she would be to him in a relationship.
But he is too annoying for shrill Janice to handle. Janice also expresses guilt for sleeping with Ross while Chandler is in Yemen. She loves Chandler and considers his feelings, despite the fact that he is lying to her. I also hate to think of the state of mind Janice is in after her own divorce, compounded with Chandler leaving. Really, what would drive a woman to sleep with Ross? While Janice does not appear in the flesh, her least-likable quality — her voice — does make an appearance when Chandler re-gifts a romantic mixtape from Janice to Monica.
This is on Chandler. OK, I concede, sometimes Janice can be a little Janice. Janice has finally found her lobster. Hooray for Janice! Janice and Sid Goralnik are a match made in heaven, because he's partially deaf. The gang runs into Janice while she and Rachel are both giving birth in the same hospital. Sid works fast. Once again, the Friends are sort of mean girls. As Valentine's Day approaches; Ross and his date end up at the same restaurant as Carol and Susan, Joey inadvertently sets Chandler up on a blind date with Janice, and the girls burn mementos of their old boyfriends.

David Schwimmer Dr. Ross Geller as Dr. Ross Geller. At Monica's restaurant. At the coffee house while she was performing. At the massage parlor where she worked. The topic of many, many jokes over the seasons was the fact that Ross was married and divorced three times.
His second marriage, to Emily, was not much of a marriage at all but was a main storyline in seasons four and five. How did Ross and Emily first meet? She was a student in one of his classes. She was the niece of Rachel's boss and Ross took her out as a favour to Rachel. She was a nanny hired by Carol and Susan to look after Ben. She stumbled on the subway and fell into his lap.
Paget Brewster played Kathy in season four. Chandler fell in love with her, but before she dated him, she was with Joey. How did Joey and Kathy meet? She was an extra on "Days of Our Lives". She was another client of Estelle. She worked at his favourite pizza place. They took an acting class together. Played by Maggie Wheeler, Janice was Chandler's very on-again, off-again girlfriend who, long after they broke up for the last time, kept popping up in his life, much to his annoyance.
